Global UNiTE Youth Forum: Leadership of young people in preventing
and responding to violence against women and girls 22-24 May 2012, Bangkok,Thailand

The first Global UNiTE Youth Forum , “Leadership of young people in preventing and responding to violence against women and girls”, will be held from 22 -24 May 2012 in Bangkok,Thailand.

Approximately 50 youth activists will participate. They will be male and female, mostly aged 18-24 (though, depending on their experiences, older activists up to a maximum age of 30 may also be included).

One of the most important selection criteria is that nominees have knowledge of, are committed to, and are actively working on preventing and eliminating violence against women and girls.

The concept document for the Forum and a nomination form are attached. Nomination deadline is 26 February 2012. Please inform those young persons who might fit the criteria. Concept Documents and Nomination forms can be accessed at the following links:
