A special event of the History and Heritage ‘Week’ of Activities is the presentation of the History and Heritage Award for outstanding and sustained contribution to the promotion, advocacy, support and development of the cultural heritage of St. Kitts and Nevis. The awardees this year are Constantine Edwards, for his work as a radio deejay, promoter, producer, documentalist and calypsonian, of our musical heritage; and Mr. Lionel Gumbs, the “Mansion Bull”, for his role in helping to keep alive an exciting and valuable expression of our “Christmas Sports” tradition.

The Award Ceremony will be broadcast live on Wednesday 22 February at 8:15 pm from the ZIZ television studio.
