JAMKIT ASSOCIATION HOSTS BOB MARLEY/DENNIS BROWN TRIBUTE 2012

The Jamaican Kittitian (JamKit) Association will once again celebrate the anniversary of the birthdays of the Bob Marley, King of Reggae and Dennis Brown, Crown Prince of Reggae, in what is dubbed Reggae Month in Jamaica, February.
For the second consecutive year JamKit will collaborate with Island Xpressions in an Event that will pay tribute to these icons. The Event will take the form of song and spoken word and will be held at the usual Island Xpressions location, Sweet Lime Restaurant, upstairs Mapau on Thursday, 23 February 2012 starting at 8.30pm.
Singers, musicians, poets and spoken word presenters will pay tribute with their talents while utilizing material given to the world by our departed Reggae Icons or their own presentation supporting these Icons.
The usual Island Xpressions contribution of $20 per person will apply.
Please come out and give your support to what is expected to be a relaxing and entertaining Event. Please also pass on information to your relatives and friends.
