SKNAAA has posted the following update on the performances of several of the Federations athletes. Last weekend there were a number of athletes who competed at meets held in Europe and North America. Overall, the results were impressive.
Kim Collins opened his season with the 60m and 200m indoors at the UKA Aviva International Match in London where he placed second in both events. Also participating at the same meet was Virgil Hodge who placed 3rd and 4th in the respective events. Below is the hyperlink leading to the results for Kim and Virgil.
Tiandra Ponteen sprinted to a season’s best in the 400m women at the Texas A&M Mondo Challenge. Tiandra’s victory of 53.45 seconds was 9/10ths of a second faster than the second place finisher and would position her in the top 15 400m times in the world for 2012. See link below…
Antoine Adams made his second individual podium appearance at a meet held in France when he sped to a 3rd place finish in the 60m. He missed out on the gold medal by 1/100ths of a second when the 1st and 2nd place finishes time equalled at 6.71seconds. Antoine was therefore given the bronze after finishing with 6.72seconds.
Brijesh Lawrence remained undefeated after defending his title as the 60m and 200m sprint double champion at the 2012 Concordia Classics hosted at the Concordia University in Nebraska. See link below…
