Adding My Recent Documents From The Start Menu

I was recently asked by my mom, “the recent document list isn’t showing on this system, how do I add it?”

And typically, I go to the PC and bam bam bam and there you go and wait for the usual comment, “you always muscle in and hit two keys in such a hurry and expect me to remember!”

So here’s the Ultra Slow-mo:

Right click on the Start Button – > go to Properties

Click the Start Menu Tab and click the Customize Button

Click the Advanced Tab and to the left of the Clear List Button there’s a Tick Box

List my most recently opened documents. Check this box, Click OK, and Apply.

As simple as that.
