LOGOS HOPE – MORE THAN BOOKS
LOGOS HOPE, the replacement ship of Logos II, is on her way to Port Zante as part of her inaugural visit to Saint Kitts and Nevis. Logos Hope is operated by the international charity GBA Ships e. V., which has received international acclaim for its acts of goodwill.
In almost 40 years of service, GBA Ships has welcomed onboard its vessels 40 million visitors in 160 countries and territories around the world. Visitors have included many heads of state and royalty as well as millions of school children and people in need. The non-paid volunteer crew and staff of Logos Hope comprise of around 400 people representing 50 different nations who offer a unique example of unity in cultural diversity.
Logos Hope offers more than books and features a fully air conditioned deck that is open to the public to explore. Logos Hope also brings an expanded selection of over 7,500 books that covers a range of subjects including education, sports, hobbies and religion. With children’s books, academic texts, dictionaries, atlases and more, there is something for everyone! During the visit, exciting programmes for people of all ages including adults, young adults and primary school children will take place in Logos Hope’s high tech Hope Theater.
Logos Hope will visit Basseterre, Saint Kitts from 13th May to 17th May 2010.
