Work at the Half Moon Bay Salt Pond

Reports reaching The St. Christopher National Trust of the filling in of the Half Moon Bay Salt Pond has caused that body to write to the Director of Physical Planning & Environment & Secretary to Development, Planning & Control Board, requesting information on planned development at the Half Moon Bay Salt Pond.

The Trust in their letter reminded the Director Mr Randolph Edmeade that the Planning & Control Board “has agreed to our inclusion in the activities of the DP&C Board on a project basis.”
The reason for the Trust’s concern is the sudden appearance of development works at the site, where it appears that the Salt Pond is being filled in.
