St. Kitts Nevis 4-2 against St Lucia

The St Kitts Nevis football team had and impressive result in St Lucia during their second game in the Group D 2014 World Cup Qualifier. The Match was played at the Beausejour stadium in St Lucia with St Kitts scoring a plethora of goals in the first half.

The first goal came off the boot of Ian Lake in the 7th minute, and soon after three more goals would score before the end of the half. These goals came from Jevon Francis, Orlando and Mitchum Devaughn Elliot in the 12th 15th and 44th minute.

St Lucia team would show a little spark with goals by Zaine Pierre and Cliff Valcin in the 65th and 84th minute respectively. The game finally ended 4-2 giving St Kitts and Nevis their first win and placed them second behind Canada in the group.

On Tuesday Puerto Rico hosted Canada and at the end of the first half Canada had scored their first goal. At the end of the game Canada scored two more goals giving them a 3-0 win over Puerto Rico.

The points standing in the Group D is Canada-6, St Kitts-Nevis-4, Puerto Rico-1 and St Lucia-0.

The third series of matches will be played on the 7th October with Puerto Rico hosting St Kitts Nevis and St Lucia hosting Canada. St Kitts will also host St Lucia on 11th October.
