St.Kitts Carnival Secretariat launched Carnival 2009-2010 last weekend with a packed line – up and plenty of fun. The event was a combination of traditional culture – masquerades, clowns, string bands and contemporary bands. The High Schools Steel Band competition as also a feature of the launch this year.
The Cayon High School won best school Steel Band, with Sandy Point High School and St. Kitts and Nevis Steel Orchestra – SKNSO
1st and 2nd runners up respectively.
