PRESS RELEASE
BASSETERRE,

Veron Lake Crime Stoppers St. Kitts and Nevis Spokesperson(left) and CEO of Island Xpressions Samal Duggins
The Crime Stoppers team has been conducting an intense awareness campaign over the past few weeks and intends to continue right up until the program’s official launch dates, which are December 13, in Nevis and December 14, in St. Kitts. Once launched, the Crime Stoppers program will allow the general public to dial a toll-free hotline,1-800-8477(TIPS), and anonymously access the Crime Stoppers Canada-based call center where they can report any information on any criminal activity they may be aware of, whether, present or future. The hotline is encrypted so that information about the call cannot be tracked, and therefore, individuals providing information will always remain anonymous.
After submitting their tip, the caller will be provided a unique code number. This code number should be used 30 days later by the caller to find out if the tip has led to an arrest. Callers become eligible for a REWARD of up to EC $1000 if the tip provided led to an arrest. This reward will be paid without compromising the identity of the caller. Callers can be reassured that the process remains completely anonymous.
Be sure to join Island Xpressions and Crime Stoppers on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. at Mapau on Port Zante for a night of riveting performances!
