VENEZUELAN EMBASSY SUPPORTS CHILDREN’S CARNIVAL

Basseterre, St. Kitts, (SKNIS):

THis Excellency Cruz de Jesus Bello presents cheque to Gus Williams he Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela has offered support to the colour, creativity and energy of Children’s Carnival.

At a recent ceremony, Resident Ambassador His Excellency Cruz de Jesus Bello
presented a sponsorship cheque to the Chairman of the National Carnival
Committee, Gus Williams

Mr. Williams noted that the committee was grateful to receive support from
the diplomatic institution, which has generously assisted several initiatives in St. Kitts and Nevis.

Ambassador Bello stressed that it was an honour for his country to contribute to an activity that encourages young people to celebrate the traditions of culture and carnival.

Youth participation continues to be a focus of the Carnival Committee as it
adds a youthful spirit to the festivities and ensures the sustainability of
the annual festival. LIME’s Children’s Carnival is organized by the Department of Youth and will be held under the theme “Colour Me Fantastic.

The revelers will showcase segments called Kaleidoscope, Paint Me a Rainbow, Monochromatic Splendor,Hue-Mania, Colours Do Complement. The event takes place on December 31.
