Rotary Club of Liamigua Spelling Bee Champion Placed 3rd In Regional Competition

The Rotary Club of Liamuiga’s 2010 Spelling Bee champion, Quiandra Pemberton, travelled with a St Kitts delegation – her mother, Gayenne Scarborough; teacher. Aurelstine Warner; and RCL Director, William White – to St Lucia last weekend to compete in the Haliborange 2010 Regional Spelling Bee Competition. The Competition was held on Saturday, 4 December 2010 at the Gros Islet Secondary School.
She placed 3rd in a very strong field of competitors and was presented with her award of EC$2,000 on Friday, 10 December 2010 at 10.00am at the premises of Ram’s Trading Limited, local representatives/ distributors for Haliborange and Seven Seas.
