SKELEC: Operation successful; greater reliability expected for 2012 hurricane season Basseterre, St. Kitts (April 29, 2012) — The St. Kitts Electricity Company Limited (SKELEC), on Sunday, restored electricity to all of its customers following a planned 10-hour island wide blackout to undertake wide-scale inspection and repairs to its generation and distribution system.
