Do you remember the time when parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, teachers, neighbours, older youths, well any adult really, could reprimand you or at least ask you what you were doing or tell you to behave? Well something happened to change all that and no one seems to know when it all happened.

More and more in our society, children and young people seem to be in charge of the adults; I recently heard a story from a school teacher, where a child in his classroom, during lesson time, shouted into his cell phone “Daddy, just bring de ting nuh!” Continue reading
