On June 22, 2012 heads of state and government of six countries and a foundation made bold commitments to preserve natural resources that provide livelihoods, food, protection from natural disasters and other benefits to people.The commitments were made at an event in Rio co-hosted by Indonesian President Yudhoyono and Prime Minister Thomas of Grenada.
