EDITORIAL

Following the Election Petition case in Nevis recently, we at Kittivisian Life restrained ourselves from comment. However, we are cognizant that many in the Federation and worldwide are anxious for clear unbiased comment on the matter.

Beginning with the CARICOM, and OAS observer reports on the election, the indications were that there were serious issues with the way that the election process had been conducted.

We provide these two commentaries as objective opinion from one experienced in constitutional law in the hope that our readers would better understand the judgement of Justice Lionel Jones and the recommendations of the CARICOM Electoral Observation Group’s Report.
