It was a packed house at the Pentecostal Church of God in Saddlers on Sunday 11th November 2012, when members, invited guests and visitors gathered to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the founding of the church.
Over fifty years ago this year the founding Pastor Bishop George C. Gilfillan and his wife Emily had the inspiration to start a church in the rural community of Saddlers, Government regulations did not allow for any additional church to be built in Saddlers at that time. In August of 2012 Operation Future invited Mr. Daniel Suter, Criminal Justice Adviser to the Eastern Caribbean, to participate as a speaker at our annual conference. Mr. Suter introduced the participants in the conference to a program called “No Witness No Justice”, this program is a joint initiative of the U.S. Embassy to Barbados and the Eastern Caribbean and the British High Commission, Bridgetown Barbados.
