Daily Service from St. Maarten, and Between Nevis and St. Kitts Announced

Winair and St.Kitts – Nevis Officials

Caribbean Sub-regional airline, Winair, will recommence regular flights between St. Maarten and St. Kitts on 29th October, 2012.

That announcement was made by St. Kitts & Nevis Minister of Tourism & International Transport, Senator Ricky Skerritt, following a confirmation visit last Thursday, of a three-man delegation from Winair headed by Michael Cleaver, President and CEO of Winair.
Minister Skerritt said Winair’s 19 seat twin-engine aircraft will conveniently connect St. Kitts with key incoming international flights to St. Maarten from Europe and North America, and will reintroduce a domestic air service between Nevis and St. Kitts. Continue reading →

Victoria Falls

I was not prepared for my arrival in Zambia. I was there to visit the magnificent Victoria Falls, but I knew that the country was landlocked and I was prepared for a typical dusty, hot African town. Nothing could have been further from the truth. When we landed, I felt like we had arrived on a small Caribbean island. I could have been in St. Kitts, St. Vincent or Grenada.
